Gettin’ Your Place Ready for Photography and Video Shoots

We are a team of photographers and video professionals who help you capture high end images and videos of your property.  We cant like, clean your place for you or anything, but I wanted to share some tips to help you prep so we can do our best work.

First things first – declutter and deep clean the inside and outside so the rooms look tidy and welcoming, not messy.  Also stage some furniture and decor to help things shine more.

For outdoor spaces like yards and pools, make sure they’re kept nice – mow the lawn, trim bushes clean the pool and be sure to wash all the windows and surfaces inside too to let light in and avoid smudges in photos.

Putting out a few fresh flowers can make a difference as well.
The goal is to show off the property so potential buyers want it. Give us a shout if you have any other questions!

WHY CHOOSE SPIELBEN & CO REAL ESTATE VIDEO PRODUCTION?

Bedding and Furniture Looking Sharp: The bedding should be smooth and made neatly to display the room’s style well.  And arrange the furniture to look its best too.

Use Some Decorations: Fresh flowers or fruit make a room look homey and inviting.  But steer clear of fake stuff which can seem tacky.

Accent Details for Extra Appeal: Carefully chosen decor draws eyes to nice details in a room and makes it feel classier.  As long as it works with the property’s vibe, these little touches can make the photos stand out more.

REAL ESTATE VIDEO production from SPIELBEN & CO

Our Approach for Great Photos: We have got specialized skills to photograph spaces in ways that highlight what makes your property special.  Our shots are always top quality and on-brand.

On-site Support Staff: Having some folks around when we’re shooting can be a big help if they can make little tweaks to keep things looking good in the spaces.  We’re happy to chat about presentation and all that, but mostly we just focus on getting great photos and videos.

To get ready for the photoshoot:

– Give us access when we’re scheduled to show up – entry codes, let staff know well be there.
– If you know what times rooms get good sunlight clue us in.  That’ll help plan shots to look their best.

When we arrive, have the power and A/C on so we can turn on lights and other stuff we need.  Replace any dead lightbulbs so the spaces look bright and consistent – that prevents delays and makes the photos look cleaner and more polished, which is essential for a high-quality real estate video presentation.

Designate someone whether yourself or another contact, who can answer questions when we’re there, make decisions about different shots, and unlock any spaces we need to photograph.  Double check everything is accessible or tell us ahead of time if some areas are off limits.

For outdoor and drone shots, take care of any lawn or exterior maintenance a day or two before we arrive so the grounds look tidy.  And be flexible to reschedule if bad weather rolls in – that could mess up some of those shots.

If the property’s near restricted zones (like airports or certain city areas), make sure you get all the permissions and permits needed to fly drones there.  Spielben & Company has to follow rules from the Thailand Film Office to get filming permits temporary work visas, and drone licenses as required.  Just so you know, getting a special drone permit might need some extra money put into the budget but it’s worth it for high-quality real estate video production.

Also, don’t schedule any other maintenance or work on the day we’ll be filming.
If window repairs, painting touch-ups, gardening, or other tasks are happening that day, it could mess up the shoot schedule and ruin the look we’re trying to capture. If we can’t avoid it and there ends up being equipment, scaffolding, signs of repairs – that might mean we have to edit more or even reschedule. Extra fees could apply if we have to do more production work because of disruptions, which could impact the final real estate video presentation.

If you follow these guidelines, it helps us focus on getting fantastic footage that shows off your property looking its best. If you’ve got any other questions or need help prepping, feel free to reach out.
